Reheat Like a Pro: Bring Your Lambretta Pizza Back to Life

Let’s face it — leftover Lambretta pizza is still better than most fresh pizzas. But if you’re just tossing it in the microwave, we need to have a little chat. Here’s how to bring back that just-out-of-the-oven magic — crispy crust, gooey cheese, and all — without messing it up.

🥇 The Best Method: The Frying Pan Technique

This is the closest thing to “pizza sorcery” we can share.

How to do it:

  1. Place a slice (or two, live your life) in a cold non-stick pan.

  2. Turn the heat to medium-low.

  3. Cover with a lid or foil.

  4. Wait 4–6 minutes. Done.

Why it works:The bottom crisps up like it’s fresh out of our oven, and the steam trapped by the lid melts the cheese without drying anything out. It's a beautiful thing.

🔥 The Oven Method (Good for a Few Slices or a Whole Pie)

How to do it:

  1. Preheat to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Place slices directly on the middle oven rack or on a baking sheet.

  3. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.

Pro Tip: Put a piece of foil under the rack to catch any cheesy drips. (You’re welcome.)

🛑 The Microwave (A Last Resort, But We Get It)

Desperate times? We’ve got you.

How to make it less tragic:

  1. Place a slice on a plate with a slightly damp paper towel underneath.

  2. Microwave for 30–45 seconds.

  3. Do not expect crispness, but it’ll still be delicious.

🧼 One Thing You Should Never Do:

Reheat your pizza in the box. Trust us — it’s not fireproof, and neither is your kitchen. Use your oven, not cardboard.

Bonus Tip:

Got dipping sauces left over? Let them come to room temperature while you reheat your slice — cold sauces on hot pizza are a match made in Lambretta heaven.

Whether it’s Day One or Day Two, Lambretta pizza is still worth treating right. So reheat like a pro, and thank us later. (Or tag us in your next leftover pizza pic @lambrettapizzeria — we love to see it.)
