Pizza Catering Toronto for Groups That Matter

A group meal has to do more than arrive on

time. It has to give people a reason to step away from their desks, settle into the party or stay for one more slice.

Whether you're organizing an office lunch, birthday, team celebration, production day or casual gathering, good pizza catering in Toronto should make feeding a group easier—not give the person organizing it another job to manage.

At Lambretta Pizzeria, we've been feeding Toronto since 2015, with New York-style pizza made from dough prepared in-house, quality ingredients and a menu that makes it easy to build a meal for groups of different sizes and appetites.

New York-style pizza is practically made for sharing.

Large, foldable slices are familiar, satisfying and easy to serve whether you're eating around a conference table, gathering in someone's home or feeding a room full of guests.

There's very little setup required, people can serve themselves and everyone can choose what they want.

But there's a difference between simply ordering a stack of pizzas and planning a catered meal that actually works for the group.

The best orders start with three things: who you're feeding, when they're eating and how the food will be served.

Start With the Occasion, Not Just the Headcount

Knowing how many people you're feeding is important, but headcount doesn't tell the whole story.

An office lunch with a 30-minute break requires a different approach from a Saturday birthday party. A working meeting may need food that's quick and easy to eat, while an evening gathering gives you more flexibility to create a larger spread.

For workplace catering, pizza is an obvious starting point. Add salads or Italian sandwiches and you can create variety without making the meal complicated. Pasta can make the order more substantial when lunch is intended as a team celebration or full meal.

For family gatherings and parties, a few well-chosen pizzas allow everyone to share and try different toppings. Adding pasta, sandwiches or salads gives the table more range, particularly when some guests want a full meal while others would rather grab a slice and keep socializing.

More choices don't necessarily make a better catering order.

In fact, ordering too many different pizzas can make things unnecessarily complicated.

Start with familiar crowd-pleasers, include a meat-free option when appropriate and then add one or two more distinctive pizzas for variety.

From there, decide whether the occasion calls for anything else.

Pizza can easily be the entire meal for a smaller group. For larger groups, adding pasta, Italian sandwiches and salads can make the spread more substantial and accommodate different appetites.

The goal isn't to order everything on the menu.

It's to put together enough variety that everyone finds something they want to eat.

How Much Pizza Should You Order?

There isn't one perfect formula because people don't eat the same amount at every event.

A group arriving hungry for dinner will generally eat differently from an office team having lunch between meetings. Portions also depend on whether pizza is the entire meal or part of a larger spread.

Think about the time of day, how long the event will last and what else you're serving.

If pizza is the main event, plan accordingly. If you're also ordering pasta, sandwiches and salads, those dishes will naturally reduce the number of slices each person needs.

And when you're unsure, ask us. We'd rather help you think through the order than have your last two guests staring sadly at an empty pizza box.

Pizza Catering for Toronto Offices

Corporate catering comes with its own challenges.

Meetings run late. Elevators take forever. Reception needs to be notified. Someone forgot to mention that the food is going to the 23rd floor.

Welcome to downtown Toronto.

For office lunches, meetings, team celebrations and production days, sharing a few logistical details when ordering can make everything run much more smoothly.

Let us know your approximate headcount, when you plan to eat and any relevant delivery instructions. If the building has a loading area, reception procedure or specific delivery entrance, include that information as well.

It also helps to think about how the food will be served.

For a working lunch, straightforward pizzas that are easy to grab between conversations may be all you need. For a team celebration or larger corporate gathering, pizza can be combined with pasta, Italian sandwiches and salads for a more complete meal.

The food should fit the occasion—not the other way around.

Why Consistency Matters With Large Pizza Orders

Catering puts a restaurant's operation to the test.

One great pizza isn't enough when you're opening ten boxes.

Every pizza needs to be prepared accurately and consistently, and the entire order needs to be coordinated so the food is ready at the right time.

That's where experience matters.

Lambretta Pizzeria has been serving Toronto since 2015, backed by more than 20 years of restaurant ownership and hospitality experience. Our New York-style pizzas are made with dough prepared in-house and quality ingredients, with the same attention to preparation whether we're making dinner for one family or food for a larger gathering.

It's an award we're extremely proud of, but catering comes down to something much simpler: when you've trusted us to feed a room full of people, we need to get it right.

A Little Planning Makes Event Day Easier

For larger catering orders, advance notice is always helpful.

Before ordering, have your approximate guest count, serving time and delivery or pickup details ready. Let us know about dietary considerations and anything unusual about the location that could affect delivery.

If you're serving the food yourself, keep the setup simple.

Give the pizza boxes enough room to open properly, place plates and napkins nearby and set salads, pasta and other dishes where guests can easily build their plates without creating a traffic jam.

Nobody wants their office lunch to require crowd control.

Pizza Catering in Central and West Toronto

Lambretta Pizzeria provides pizza and

options for offices, businesses, families and events across our Toronto delivery area, including central and west Toronto and the downtown core.

From an office lunch for a team to a family celebration or larger gathering, we can help you build an order around the number of guests, the occasion and the way you plan to serve the food.

Good catering doesn't need to be complicated.

Start with well-made pizza, add enough variety for the room and make sure there's enough food for everyone to comfortably reach for another slice.

We'll take care of the pizza.
